June 25th - 30th

DSC 0098DSC 1387DSC 0062

We are excited to introduce a new style of family camp this summer here at Lutheran Lakeside! CONNECT family camp will be a cross generational camp. Now, you may be wondering, just what does that mean! Simply put, cross generational means that all the activates throughout the day will be tailored for all ages, giving families the opportunity to learn and play as a unit threw all aspects of camp.

You can look forward to some of the classic Lakeside activates, like boating, swimming, and paddle boarding, rock wall climbing, and games of all types. There will also be new aspects to create a week filled with fun and faith for the whole family. One new element that we are overjoyed to bring to CONNECT family camp is a new worship leader. We hope to bring new songs and activities to create a worship space that engages members of all ages.

This camp will be an enriching experience for the whole family and Lutheran Lakeside is honored to provide a space for your family to play, learn, and grow together in faith.

On Sunday afternoon during your scheduled week of camp, please arrive no earlier than 2pm and no later than 4:30pm for the registration process. Registration runs from 2-4:30pm. If you cannot make it during these times, just let us know ahead of time or give us a call and we'll make sure your family gets taken care of!

The registration process is held at our Dining Hall - located at the second entrance of camp. The building is air conditioned and accessible to all.

You'll be greeted by many friendly staff who will help you by giving you a map of camp, marked with where you are staying, and guiding you toward your 'home' for the week. A staff member will be provided for you to help carry your luggage, unpack, or find your way around if you are interested in this.

If you finish unpacking early, you're more than welcome to jump into the pool for a swim or come back to the Dining Hall where games and fellowship will be held.

We can't wait to see you!

For departure on Tuesday nights or Fridays

Tuesday      You are welcome to leave at any time during the evening. We invite you to join us through campfire if you would like, but you are welcome to leave before if necessary.

Friday       We will run our morning on Friday according to the usual schedule, followed by our final closing worship. Lunch will conclude the day so that you are sent on your way with a hearty meal.

We invite you to join us in a long-standing camp tradition before you leave. Each year we gather around the bell circle at the center of camp, hold hands, and sing "Shalom." As each person leaves, they are welcome to ring the bell as many times as they like to signify becoming a part of the Lutheran Lakeside Camp Family. We can't wait to invite you in!
