Junior High I, II
June 18-23, July 16-21
Are you ready for even more excitement than you knew possible? Scale the tremendous climbing wall, fly high on our zip line, traverse the ropes course, sail across the lake, and meet some new friends while you're at it. It's going to be a great week!
Confirmation I, II, III, IV
June 11-16 (I), June 18-23 (II), July 16-21 (III), July 23-28 (IV)
Remember, confirmation camp is not just for confirmation students! Confirmation is much like our "base" camp, but with the added benefits of the confirmation environment! You don't have to come with a church, but you certainly can!
Confirmation camp is a great place to have fun in an intentional Christian community with the added bonus of being with your pastor or youth director in charge of your church’s confirmation program! Join in on a hunger awareness meal, participate in service projects, and learn from pastors and youth directors during Bible studies. Counselors will bring campers together for intentional small-group Bible studies. Climb the tower, zip down the zipline, paddle board around the docks, sail across the lake, and so much more! Don’t miss out on this week of fun, fellowship, and faith!
Finally, a camp where you can stay up late and sleep all day! This adventurous program leads campers into the excitement of God’s creation after dark. Campers participate in games, cookouts, activities, crafts, and hikes after the sun goes down with dinner at midnight! After we wake up, we can do some day time activities like archery, sailing, and swimming. You even get to experience Lakeside’s very own Drive-In Theater on Thursday night! Staying up late gives campers a great opportunity to explore a new side of camp, participate in in-depth conversations and Bible studies, and make new and lasting friendships.
Ahoy there! Do you love being out on the water? Have you ever been interested in sailing? Do you want to become a Lakeside Lugger? If so, this camp is for you! Whether you are a beginner or a pro, there’s something new to learn! Start on the Sunfish or Bravos and work your way up through the different classes of boats! New tips and techniques help all campers learn how to captain a ship – not to mention the fun experiments we do on land! Tie knots, read the wind, and play awesome games on the lake all week long. You and your sailing crew have the chance to climb the Tower, zipline, and participate in activities and games such as archery, Gaga ball, paddle boarding, kayaking, and canoeing. You are busy all week long, but you definitely have a blast - Get your sea legs ready and head to Lakeside!

Junior Lifeguarding (Red Cross)
*Age 12-15 ONLY
Do you love being in and around the water? Have you ever thought about being a lifeguard? This camp is the perfect place to see whether lifeguarding is something you want to do! You are trained in Junior Lifeguarding by a Certified Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor. If you pass, you get a certificate from the Red Cross stating your abilities! Spend the week at the pool – learning water skills, rescue skills, first aid skills, and all-around safety. Spend time relaxing, hanging out with friends, and enjoying all that camp has to offer – sailing, archery, bike-riding, rock-climbing, and more!
“The Junior Lifeguarding course is a key component of the Lifeguarding program. Designed for kids ages 11-15, it helps build a foundation of knowledge, attitudes, and skills for future lifeguards. It creates a lifeguarding feeder program to help aquatics supervisors recruit the most promising Lifeguarding candidates for future employment.
Junior Lifeguarding has a strong focus on developing swimming skills to help participants meet the Lifeguarding course prerequisite. The course also introduces participants to lifesaving skills, such as in-water rescues, use of a rescue tube, and first aid, CPR, and AED. Participants also have the opportunity to shadow lifeguards in rotation to get a real sense of being on the job.”
